What's inside

From cover to colophon — and everything in between

The bundle follows the workbook all the way through the workbook's decision page, then a one-page divider, then the trail kit cover-to-closing, then a back-cover colophon.

  • Premium bundle cover

Off-grid brand cover with the wordmark, tracked-out eyebrow, hero shield glyph, and the same paper / palette / type family every other OffGrid product shares.

  • Property Scout Workbook — cover

Workbook brand cover page (already shipped standalone), unchanged so the standalone and bundle buyers see the same opening page.

  • Property Scout Workbook — criteria scoring

Twelve weighted categories × 5 fillable rows = 60 criteria; score weight × score and track your running total as you go.

  • Property Scout Workbook — budget & financing

Line-item budget by phase with Cash / HELOC / Seller financing / 401k / Other source per row, then the loan math (down, rate, term, P&I, total interest) that closes the deal.

  • Property Scout Workbook — owner outreach log

    Initial contact, follow-ups, negotiation, closing — date / channel / contact / topic / outcome / follow-up / notes per row.

  • Property Scout Workbook — landowner outreach log

One row per landowner / parcel — name, contact info, parcel address, call dates, notes, and follow-up status.

  • Property Scout Workbook — deal pipeline summary

One row per deal — status, last-touch, next-step, asking price, notes. Status: New · Contacted · Replied · Negotiating · Offer made · Under contract · Closed · Lost · On hold.

  • Property Scout Workbook — red-flag checklist

Parcel, access, and title due-diligence checkboxes with a severity dropdown (Low / Med / High), canonical mitigation, and notes per item.

  • Property Scout Workbook — county office research

Twelve offices (Assessor, Recorder, Planning, Building, Health, Treasurer, Road, Sheriff, GIS, USDA/FSA, Fire, School) — what to ask, requested / received dates, status.

  • Property Scout Workbook — decision & signature

Go / no-go summary, reviewer name, review date, decision, and signature line — the clean handoff at the end of the workbook.

  • Bundle divider

One-page section break — bone-cream panel with the brand wordmark and the kit title in forest — separates the land-buyer portion from the backcountry portion.

  • Family Trail Safety Kit — cover

Kit brand cover page (already shipped standalone), unchanged so the standalone and bundle buyers see the same opening page.

  • Family Trail Safety Kit — creek crossing

Five Y/N prompts at the bank with four terminal outcomes (cross with group, cross adults only, find alternate, turn around) — answer in order before anyone steps in.

  • Family Trail Safety Kit — kid gear by age band

Infant (0-2), Toddler (2-5), Child (6-9), Pre-teen (10-12) — clothing, hydration, food, safety / whistle, navigation, sun / weather, communication. Pack it the night before, weigh the pack.

  • Family Trail Safety Kit — when to turn around

Seven triggers (weather, time, group condition, fatigue, water, navigation confidence, child state) graded Continue / Caution / Turn back. Re-check at every junction.

  • Back-cover colophon

Year + brand wordmark on a single ivory page — closes the bundle the same way every other OffGrid product closes.

Part I — Property Scout Workbook

Eight sections, one printable workbook

The same fillable workbook that ships standalone — every AcroForm widget preserved across the bundle stamp.

  • Criteria scoring

Twelve weighted categories (location, water, access, …) — score a parcel against your must-haves with weight × score math.

  • Budget & financing tracker

Line-item budget by phase, source funding dropdown per row, then the loan math (down, rate, term, monthly P&I, total interest) that closes.

  • Owner outreach log

    Initial contact, follow-ups, negotiation, and closing — date / channel / contact / topic / outcome / follow-up / notes per row.

  • Red-flag checklist

Parcels, access, and title due diligence with a checkbox, severity dropdown (Low / Med / High), canonical mitigation, and notes per item.

  • County office research

Twelve offices (Assessor, Recorder, Planning, Building, Health, Treasurer, Road, Sheriff, GIS, USDA/FSA, Fire, School) — what to ask, requested / received dates, status.

  • Decision & signature

Go / no-go summary plus reviewer name, review date, decision, and signature line — a clean handoff.

  • Landowner outreach log

One row per landowner / parcel — name, contact info, parcel address, call dates, notes, and follow-up status.

  • Deal pipeline summary

One row per deal across every outreach attempt — status, last-touch, next-step, asking price, notes. Status: New · Contacted · Replied · Negotiating · Offer made · Under contract · Closed · Lost · On hold.

Part II — Family Trail Safety Kit

Plan, pack, and decide at the trailhead

The same printable kit that ships standalone — designed to be laminated and stored in the trail binder.

  • Creek-crossing decision tree

Five Y/N prompts, four terminal outcomes (cross with group, cross adults only, find alternate crossing, turn around) — answer in order on the bank before anyone steps in.

  • Kid gear by age band

Infant (0-2), Toddler (2-5), Child (6-9), Pre-teen (10-12) — clothing, hydration, food, safety/whistle, navigation, sun/weather, communication. Pack it the night before, weigh the pack.

  • When-to-turn-around chart

Seven triggers (weather, time on trail, group condition, fatigue, water supply, navigation confidence, child state) graded Continue / Caution / Turn back. Re-check at every junction.

Direct checkout

Each bundle ships the same bundled PDF. Direct checkout sits on top of Stripe and emails a secure download link the moment payment clears.

Buy direct

When you turn on direct checkout

The Buy Direct chip on each tool opens a Stripe-hosted checkout that is the only purchase path. It only works once the deploy's Stripe keys are wired and the operator runs the steps below.

  1. Finish Stripe onboarding on the Polsia dashboard Payments page (Connection + branding) — direct checkout stays gated until this completes.
  2. Set ORDER_TOKEN_SECRET on the deploy env (openssl rand -hex 32 → store via set_app_secret) so download links survive a restart.
  3. Redeploy: polsia.toml ships npx prisma db push at build, so the Order table lands automatically.
  4. Smoke-test one $1 charge end-to-end: open /tools/<slug>, click "Buy direct", submit a known email, complete Stripe checkout, land on /checkout/success, click the download button, confirm /api/orders/download streams the unlocked PDF.
  5. Watch the orders feed: prisma.order rows flip pending → paid; the receipt email fires from the post-payment helper.

Direct checkout is the only purchase path — Stripe-hosted with a secure download link emailed the moment payment clears.

Works for every product in the catalog: property-scout-workbook, family-trail-safety-kit, desert-stargazers-journal, property-criteria-scoring-sheet, buyer-bundle, backpack-base-weight-tracker, 72-hour-power-outage-runbook.
